UPDATE ON E-OVERPAYMENT REFUND SUBMISSION ADVISORY
In reference to the advisory released on November 21, 2022 (E- OVERPAYMENT REFUND SUBMISSION ADVISORY) on the new online platform for Overpayment Refund Request Submission and Processing. Below would be the updated process of submission request and payment advice.
This will guide our customers to submit the correct and complete documents.
- Request shall be automatically queued in our monitoring database for our personnel to process in a First IN – First OUT basis.
- Same as normal operations, we would be implementing a cut-off receiving time of 4:00PM from Monday to Thursday only (Strictly No Submission
on Fridays, Weekends or Holidays).
- Any request after the 4PM cut-off would be treated as request for the following working day (if any).
- All documents will be further evaluated for completeness and accuracy. You will be contacted accordingly for any issues.
In addition, please be advised that you will no longer receive emails regarding payment advice/notification on your Overpayment refund from an Ocean Network Express Philippines, Inc. (ONE) personnel. Please refer to the emails sent by Hongkong Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC Advising Service). This will serve as the official notifications regarding your Overpayment refund.

UPDATE ADVISORY ON ELECTRONIC BILLING STATEMENTS AND RECEIPTS
As approved by the Bureau of Internal Revenue under Acknowledgement Certificate
Control No. AC_125_0423_000175 issued on April 13, 2023, all Ocean Network
Express Pte. Ltd. customers will still be receiving the Electronic Official Receipts,
Acknowledgement Receipts and Billing Statements via email. These serve as the
official BIR approved documents and no hard copies will be issued. These are
computer generated documents and no signature is required.
The emails are coming from [email protected]. To guarantee that you will
receive the receipts and billing statements, we encourage you to add this email domain
to your email address book or safe sender’s list and do not also mark the emails as
spam.

IMPLEMENTATION OF OVERPAYMENT REFUND FOR DEM/DET
In relation to the implementation of VAT, we would like to advise that offsetting of overpayment for DEM/DET will no longer be allowed.

SEGREGATION OF VAT AND NON-VAT PAYMENT ADVISORY
In relation to the advisory on application of 12% VAT on Detention and Demurrage (D&D) released last September 29, 2022, for week effective November 01, 2022.
We are encouraging your good office to segregate payments for Vatable charges (D&D) from the non-Vatable charges (Freight and other local charges) for proper issuance of official receipts.
Please be informed that we would be issuing a separate vat registered official receipts for D&D collections with VAT for invoices issued starting November 1, 2022.
